CNC Router Machinist

Job Description:

Are you skilled in operating specialized machinery? We are seeking a CNC Router Machinist to join our team in St. Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and organizing daily projects, operating CNC routers, monitoring the work environment, and preparing wood finishes for other departments.

Position Details:

• Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily work orders (JPR).
• Order necessary materials for daily production.
• Count materials required for daily production.
• Plan project layout methods based on blueprints or instructions.
• Collect wood panels with a forklift.
• Enter dimensions into the CNC router from blueprints.
• Initiate the CNC router using the start button.
• Move sheet boards onto the router using a vacuum lifter.
• Stack cut wood on a rolling cart.
• Move pallets of wood next to the vacuum lifter.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Maintain safety rules and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Consistent employment for one year within the last two years.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Production and processing knowledge.
• Ability to control machines and processes.
• Proficiency in performing general physical activities.
• Skill in handling and moving objects.
• Excellent visual acuity.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine errors.
• Dynamic strength and endurance.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset.
