Role Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager is tasked with leading all aspects of production planning, materials management, labor scheduling, and quality assurance to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded. This role is critical for optimizing operations and maintaining high standards of product quality.

Supervisory Duties:
- Direct oversight of 3-5 reports
- Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least five years in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting
- Expertise in production and warehouse management practices
- Proven problem-solving abilities and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Skilled in providing clear and constructive feedback
- Strong data entry and processing capabilities
- Familiarity with LEAN production metrics
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Capable of multitasking independently and within a team
- Proven track record in managing operational processes
- Effective at prioritizing and delegating tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations
- Experience as a manufacturing or operations manager
- Knowledge of quality standards and health & safety regulations

- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

- Forklift certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the efficient operation the company, prioritizing customer satisfaction through effective recruitment, training, supervision, and organization of production staff while setting and managing operational goals.
- Design and implement LEAN operational systems, including product handling, storage requirements, equipment usage, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping methods.
- Lead and train the operations team to resolve daily operational issues and achieve both short-term and long-term performance objectives.
- Develop LEAN operational designs, including layout planning, product flow, handling systems, staffing needs, space allocation, equipment layouts, and action plans to meet company productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, enforcing, and complying with safety standards and procedures.
- Enhance staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Maintain efficient remanufacturing operations by initiating and coordinating LEAN continuous improvement programs.
- Implement health and safety precautions and security procedures to safeguard operations and inventory.
- Achieve financial objectives through accurate forecasting, budgeting, expenditure scheduling, core management, and variance analysis.
- Utilize LEAN Six Sigma techniques to develop operational systems.
- Manage operations through the use of metrics, inventory management, and employee motivation strategies.
- Continuously improve operational systems by analyzing workflows and implementing LEAN enhancements.
- Contribute to achieving operational targets by making informed recommendations and adhering to policies.
- Ensure production output meets quality standards and market demands.
- Deploy, report, and monitor operational KPIs and metrics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
