Pay: $20.00 per hour+ DOE

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Merchandiser. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper presentation and availability of products in various retail settings.

 

Responsibilities:

·          Arrange and organize products on shelves, racks, or displays to maximize visibility and appeal. Ensure that products are properly labeled and priced.

·          Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the store manager or supervisor to ensure timely restocking and replenishment. Keep track of product expiration dates and remove expired items from shelves.

·          Implement merchandising strategies provided by the company to promote sales and increase customer engagement. This may include setting up promotional displays, signage, or other marketing materials.

·          Stay informed about product features, benefits, and usage instructions to assist customers with inquiries and provide accurate information.

·          Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with product selection, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints.

·          Monitor sales trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product placement and promotion. Provide feedback to the store manager or supervisor regarding customer preferences and product performance.

·          Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the merchandising area.

 

Requirements:

·          High school diploma or equivalent.

·          Previous experience in merchandising or retail is preferred but not required.

·          Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·          Strong communication and customer service skills.

·          Ability to work independently and efficiently.

·          Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy items.

·          Have a valid driver license and a dependable vehicle.
