The Railcar Blending Operator will be responsible for managing the blending process of various bulk materials or liquids to meet specific product specifications. This role involves operating blending equipment, ensuring quality control, coordinating with logistics, and adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling and Blending:

• Manage the blending of different grades or types of bulk materials or liquids.
• Controlling quality and storage of liquid products to and from tanks, railcars, and trucks. 
• Accurately measure and mix materials to achieve desired composition.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate blending equipment such as conveyors, mixers, hoppers, and pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of blending machinery.

Quality Control:

• Test and sample blended materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Adjust blending ratios and processes based on test results and feedback.

Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams for timely railcar loading.
• Ensure accurate documentation of material types, quantities, and blending ratios.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comply with environmental and industry-specific regulations.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished blends.
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate supply.

Qualifications:

• Certified Forklift Operator.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a blending operator or in a similar role within [relevant industry].
• Strong technical knowledge of blending processes and equipment operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards.
• Effective communication skills.
