Locally owned long-standing wholesale company in the Sports Licensing and Gift industry is seeking a Product Development/Marketing team member. Experienced candidate needed to assist a team in taking new products from idea to market. This requires working with the Graphic Artist to create the initial set of artwork that will be approved by one of the sports leagues. 

• Candidates will need to effectively communicate with foreign and domestic suppliers in order to source the product. Products will include sunglasses, jewelry, leatherware, decals, tailgating items, HomeGoods and other similar sports fan related items. 
• Candidates will need to procure samples created by the vendor and submit them to the respective league for licensing approval.
• Applicant will be instrumental in creating effective product packaging to merchandise product in a retail marketplace setting. 
• Applicant will work closely with the sales department to effectively market the new products. The position will also be in charge of managing the requirements from the licensors such as training, continuing education, overseeing 3rd party audits, etc.
• Candidates need to be comfortable having multiple projects open at a time and be able to track and move easily between them.
