Insurance Agent

Located in Silverdale, WA

Overview:

A local insurance company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Insurance Sales Agent. The ideal candidate will have a Property & Casualty License or the willingness to obtain one before starting. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling insurance products to prospective clients, providing them with coverage they need to protect their assets and mitigate risks.

 

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Prospect and generate leads through various channels including referrals, networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client’s insurance requirements and financial situations.
• Educate clients on different insurance products, coverage options, and policy features to help them make informed decisions.
• Customize insurance packages to suit the individual needs and budgets of clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product changes to effectively communicate with clients.
• Collaborate with udnerwriters to assess risks and determine appropriate coverage solutions.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals set by the company.
• Maintain accurate recods of sales activities, client interactions, and policies issued.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

• Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain before start
• Proven track record of success in sales or customer service roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills

Hours/Shift:
Monday through Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM

 

Pay:
$18-$33 per hour depending on experience
