We are looking for a hard-working construction/floor installers. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of the work area, which could involve removing existing flooring, cleaning the subfloor, and ensuring the area is ready for installation. **HAVING YOUR OSHA 10 CERTIFICATION IS A MUST FOR THIS JOB**

  1. Moving Furniture: In some cases, the floor installer helper may be responsible for moving furniture and other items from the work area to facilitate the installation process.

  2. Cleaning and Maintenance: After the installation is complete, the helper may assist in cleaning the work area, removing any debris, and ensuring the space is left in a tidy condition.

  3. Material Handling: This can include unpacking and organizing flooring materials, storing them properly, and ensuring that the materials are ready for installation.

  4. Tool Maintenance: A floor installer helper may be tasked with cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment used in the installation process, as well as keeping the workspace organized.

  5. Providing Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance, answering questions, and addressing any concerns they may have during the installation process.

  6. Learning and Development: A floor installer helper may have opportunities to learn from experienced installers, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills that can lead to advancement in the field.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time (Up to 50 lbs) 
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week (6am to 3pm or 7am to 4pm) = occasional overtime. 
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to attend safety meetings at least once a week at job site.
  • Must have your own PPE.
