1st shift Machine Welder

Located in Wixom, MI

Salary: $18 per hour

We have partnered with a plumbing supply company that distributes washers, pipes, toilets, faucets, etc. This company has been in business for 25 years and has over 10 locations across the US.

Summary:

We are looking for a 1st Shift Machine Welder. Three–years of lathe operation experience (manual operation lathe equipment); or an Equivalent combination of education and experience. Welding experience preferred. High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.

Qualifications:

• Loading, driving, and unloading materials to fulfill customer and company needs
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Perform preventive machine maintenance and minor repairs
• Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment
