Salary: $18.50/hr.

We are seeking candidates for a great evaluation-hire paint line opportunity with a reputable client located in Middleton.

 

Purpose:

Prepare parts to be painted and process painted parts to the quality and standards set by the department

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares parts for paint and packages completed parts
• Masks and unmasks parts
• Loads and unloads parts to the powder coat conveyer system
• Maintains expected productivity output levels and completes assignments as scheduled
• Completes paperwork correctly, labels parts per work order and forwards the product to the next station
• Ensures product quality meets standards by frequently checking work
• Performs visual quality checks regularly to monitor paint coverage
• Follows ISO procedures
• Uses appropriate documentation to identify and communicate issues
• Adheres to safety standards at all times
• Ensures that safe methods and practices are used
• Abides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines
• Wears personal protective equipment as required
• Learns new tasks and procedures as needed
• Listens to, understands and follows instructions while learning new assignments
• Recognizes unusual circumstances and asks intelligent questions when necessary
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
• Ensures after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to designated area
• Early morning and late afternoon or evening working hour rotation
• This position requires work hours that begin early morning or extend into the evening

 

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• 1-2 years previous experience using powder coat paint application systems preferred
• Good organizational skills
• Able to use hand tools
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to understand and follow directions
• Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc
• Able to read and interpret drawings

 

Schedule: 

1st shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm Mon - Thurs, and 6:00 - 10:30am on Friday

2nd shift: 3pm-1:30am Mon-Thurs *Enjoy a 3 day weekend every week!

 

Pay: $18.50/hr. starting
