HVAC Technician

Located in La Crosse, WI

Salary: $21/hour

Express Employment is on the hunt for qualified HVAC Technicians for La Crosse’s premier heat exchange/refrigeration fabrication plant. This company offers great benefits, room for growth, and great trainers!

 

 

Wage & Hours: 

1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm, $21/hour 

 

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Wiring of commercial and industrial HVAC units
• Troubleshooting any wiring or piping issues, and communicating with electrical engineers to make diagram changes or to order new parts
• Piping/brazing
• Communicate with suppliers and manage inventory in both electrical and refrigeration rooms
• Manage and organize workload based on due date/shipment date and Gantt chart
• Effectively communicate progress and issues during meetings with HVAC and factory leads
• Final testing of HVAC unit and documentation before shipment
• Any other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements include:

• Associate degree in HVAC required along with EPA Certification
• Ability to read wiring and piping diagrams
• Must have brazing and piping experience along with final testing of HVAC units
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% for startup and service work after hire on and full training
• Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75lbs throughout shift
• Previous experience in HVAC controls, DDC, and BAS is required
