Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rebuilding, repairing, and installing automotive transmissions, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild automotive transmissions.
• Diagnose transmission issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Clean and inspect all parts, identifying any that need to be replaced or machined.
• Reassemble transmissions, ensuring all components are correctly installed and functioning.
• Test rebuilt transmissions to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Document all work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and provide assistance as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in transmission technology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a transmission builder or technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive transmissions and their components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification in transmission repair (preferred).
