Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Class A Driver with Dozer Operator experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement and experience operating heavy equipment, particularly dozers. A background in environmental services or Hazmat handling is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty Class A vehicles, including trucks with trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

·        Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.

·        Operate a dozer to perform various tasks such as grading, leveling, and earthmoving at construction sites and environmental projects.

·        Handle and transport hazardous materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.

·        Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns.

·        Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.

·        Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Hazmat handling guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

·        Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Class A vehicles and heavy equipment, specifically dozers.

·        Background in environmental services, Hazmat handling, or related field preferred.

·        Clean driving record with no major violations.

·        Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.

Skills and Abilities:

·        Proficient in operating Class A vehicles and heavy equipment, particularly dozers.

·        Strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hazmat handling procedures.

·        Excellent driving skills and ability to navigate safely in various weather and road conditions.

·        Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety at all times.

·        Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

·        Ability to sit for extended periods and operate vehicles and equipment for long hours.

·        Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual labor as needed.

·        Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and rugged terrain.
