Express Employment Professionals in Centennial, CO is immediately searching for a qualified Technical Specialist I. The qualified candidate will possess experience in security camera/systems installation and will work with a small team of Technical Specialists to ensure successful and timely systems installation while communicating with the customers on site to explain the systems, functionality and troubleshooting issues. This person will also travel with the team depending on the work location (expenses paid), and will be asked to work on Federal/State property, schools, private businesses and similar workplaces.
Highlights/Duties:
- Design, Deploy, and Install security system technologies
- Mount cameras, install wiring to cameras, trench, run wire through ceilings and other underground conduit, fasten wiring
- Crimp, strip, cut wiring to size
- Client communication – listening and talking through security systems and client specific needs regarding installation location, equipment problems/troubleshooting, answer questions and provide instruction for using new and upgraded equipment
- Continuous training/growth in learning opportunities, certifications and e-learning programs
- Customer site walk-through before and after installation to ensure understanding of project scope and communicate finished execution
What we look for:
- Working knowledge and experience terminate and pull network cable in various environments
- Experience with Cat5, Cat6, low voltage cabling, access controls, security cameras and NVR Technologies
- Experience mounting and installing security cameras, door access controls and network equipment necessary to operate security systems
- A strong understanding for workplace safety while maintaining a clean/safe work environment
- The ability to track and document work performed for customer and internal tracking purposes
- Strong time management and prioritization and project management skills
- The ability to travel for work on a regular basis
- Experience with using and maintaining power tools on-site
- Consistent and reliable work attendance
- Overall professionalism in appearance, communication (verbal, written and listening), teamwork and attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to work cross departmentally
