The Control Room Operator will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the operation of our production lines from a centralized control room. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to react swiftly to any issues that may arise during production. The Control Room Operator will work closely with production teams to ensure seamless operation and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor production processes and equipment from the control room to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Operate and adjust machinery controls as needed to maintain production quality and quantity.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues or abnormalities.
  4. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  5. Collaborate with production teams to coordinate activities and prioritize tasks according to production schedules.
  6. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report any issues or concerns.
  9. Participate in training programs to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge of production processes.
  10. Follow company policies and guidelines to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
