Key Responsibilities:

Oversee receiving, storing, and distributing mechanical parts and equipment efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Implement and enforce safety procedures to create a secure working environment.
Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization.
Perform regular quality checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to fulfill orders and meet customer demands.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably in a mechanical or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and shipping/receiving processes.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
