- Performs pre-trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
- Delivers all orders to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
- Checks in with customer at each designated account to announce arrival and serve as company liaison for the customer.
- Loads truck with packed orders, sorting and organizing merchandise so that it can be easily located on trucks.
- Ensures all signatures are received when making deliveries by utilizing the signature capture POS system.
- Communicates with branch dispatcher and/or supervisor if issues arise.
- Pull parts for customers and loads vehicles.
- Maintains clean and organized warehouse.
- Provide professional level customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of prior driving and deliveries.
- Forklift Experience beneficial.
- Drug Screen and Background checks required.
- Clean MVR and valid NY license.(CDL beneficial)
