Job Description:

 

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work with a variety of electrical equipment, read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations and repairs. Your strong problem-solving skills will be vital as you troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing efficient solutions to get them fixed promptly.

In addition to technical expertise, excellent customer service is a key aspect of this role. You will interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for accurate installations and repairs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing efficient solutions
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Keep updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical systems

Requirements:

• Valid journeyman electrician license
• Previous experience as a journeyman electrician
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
• Physical ability to perform electrical tasks, including lifting and climbing ladders
