Salary: $20.00/hr.

We''re recruiting an experienced candidate for a Material Handler position with for a family-owned manufacturing facility located in Lake City, MN. This role will be responsible for shipping and receiving daily shipments; handle, move, and store various non-hazardous materials; load and unload different transport items, recording inventory statuses and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders. 

 

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00am 3:30pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. 

 

Requirements: 

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Ability to keep pace with production expectations
• Ability to use a computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Schedule trucks with minor assistance 
• Ability to operate material handling equipment: forklift, pallet jacks, etc. 
• Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance 
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to inspect product for quality assurance and identify any errors 
• Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process
• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries 
• Ability to document any damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation with minor assistance 
• Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damages products
• Ability to store incoming product in the correct warehouse 
• Labeling every product and placing them accordingly 
• Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory 
• Additional duties as needed
