Express Employment West Des Moines is seeking a Garden Associate to join a local companies team. As a Garden Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their gardening needs, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance of the garden center.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garden center
- Water plants and ensure they are properly cared for
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
- Assist with pricing and labeling products
- Assist with loading heavy items into customer vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-organized garden center
- Experience with cash register operation and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills to assist customers effectively
- Knowledge of lawn care and gardening techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required
