We are looking for a Production Operator for a food production company in Wilsonville. This is a great opportunity for hard-working, reliable individuals looking to grow their knowledge and career. 

 

Duties:

• Production duties include scaling/staging, loading/mixing, packaging, pallet loading and preparation of finished goods
• Follow all food safety and operating procedures as outlined by the Company’s standards, including start-up, change-overs, shutdown, and safe operation of production machinery
• Ensure scheduled sanitation of production area is being conducted, including daily, weekly, monthly and annual cleanings
• Ensure FIFO procedures are followed
• Practice warehouse management “best practices”
• Complete any and all forms, checklists and documentation required by Company policies and procedures
• Produce quality products in a manner that meets production targets and complies with the Company’s food safety, quality standards and safety guidelines
• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk, hear and smell. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages
• Written and oral English Communication
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of stand-up forklift, sit down forklift and scissor lift
• Biochemical process and/or Food manufacturing experience
• PC skills in Word and Excel
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

 

Pay: $20.25 per hour

Schedule: M-F 1:00PM – 11:30PM
