Tapering Assistant

Located in Lakeville, MN

Salary: Up to $21/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly motivate and talented individual for the Tapering Assistant position. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will work directly with the Tapering Operator to produce product on a Tapering Machine.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Move aluminum shafts using carts/cranes to the work area and loading the charge rack
• Assist with the taper of the shaft and removal of the shaft from the machine when complete
• Use hand tools to remove the bell of the shaft and cut hand hole openings from product

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of prior experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
• Ability to accurately take measurements using close tolerance measuring instruments
• Ability to read, understand and work with prints, drawings and work documents
• Mechanically inclined
• Walk, stand, bend, push/pull and lifting up to 50lbs

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available
