Duties of a Production Supervisor:

• Works with Supply Chain Manager and Team Leads to train and support team members. Supervises hiring, training, and development.
• Trains staff on using production equipment safely (pad printers, laser etchers, heat sealers, tooling, lift table equipment). Ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Meets daily with supply chain and production teams to plan work, support production goals, and optimize efficiency.
• Oversee, organize and prioritize production to ensure schedules are met.
• Leads team in accountability and developing / tracking goals.
• Manage Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production.
• Manages the flow of materials for production.
• Checks production quality and output meets standards.
• Identify and address production issues through root cause corrective action methodologies.
• Manages maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Creates and maintains training materials, SOPs, and work instructions for the production team.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

• At least 5 years of Supervisory experience in a Production / Assembly environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing machine dies, fixtures and tooling is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) – must be at least conversational.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer Skills: SAP or other MRP production systems, Microsoft Office Suite (proficient in excel).
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with lifting up to 40lbs.
