Position Overview: As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. You will utilize your experience in the dairy industry and your proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP software to contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and entering data into the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing customers, applying payments, and resolving billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP software to perform accounting functions, generate reports, and analyze financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Provide support to the finance team as needed, including assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and procurement, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to dairy accounting and ERP software.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate''s degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Experience working in the dairy industry preferred, with a solid understanding of industry-specific accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP software required, with the ability to navigate the system, perform transactions, and generate reports.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify discrepancies and reconcile accounts effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all aspects of accounting operations.
