Job Posting: Warehouse Lead - Receiving/Shipping

Location: Warwick, RI

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting at $22.00 per hour with potential for evaluation/increase upon permanent hire

 

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and shipping TV units in both Warwick locations using hands and pallet jack
• Handling inventory, including breaking down and validating inventory upon receipt
• Assigning and labeling inventory accurately
• Facilitating inter-store product transfers to/from Electronic Dr/Jefferson Park using a 15’ box truck
• Organizing warehouse space efficiently
• Preparing and building pallets for product sale
• Reporting any inventory inconsistencies promptly

Additional Responsibilities During Downtime:

• Learning product grading procedures
• Providing sales assistance as needed

Requirements:

• Passing a DOT physical as required
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, particularly in shipping and receiving roles
• Familiarity with handling and transporting fragile items
• Proficiency in using hand and pallet jacks for material handling
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
