Join Our Client's Team as a Credit Associate!

Are you ready to excel in a dynamic role that involves assisting with credit, collections, and financial matters? We're seeking a Credit Associate to join our client's team in Portland, Oregon. If you're a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Primary Duties:

  • Maintain professional relationships with key customers and efficiently manage assigned portfolios.
  • Assist in opening new and existing accounts, setting credit lines, and releasing tickets.
  • Process new account applications and communicate application status to the branch.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses.
  • Collaborate with leadership on credit goals, legal issues, and special projects.
  • Review accounts receivable aging and coordinate corrective action plans as needed.
  • Manage lien waivers and coordinate requests for payment via EFT/ACH.
  • Process credit inquiries from other credit grantors.
  • Assist with invoice printing and customer account research.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to be a self-starter.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Credit, Finance, Accounting, or related field; or 2 years of experience in a credit-related capacity.
  • NACM certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
