As a Mover/Driver with our esteemed client, you'll play a pivotal role in our operational excellence, ensuring the secure and efficient transport of our customers' possessions. This role demands physical prowess, safe driving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. We're seeking individuals who are adaptable, dependable, and ready to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

The Mover/Driver position involves physical exertion such as heavy lifting, bending, and kneeling. Work schedules may include evenings and weekends based on operational needs. Strict adherence to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques is imperative for a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Loading and Unloading:

   • Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto trucks.
   • Ensure items are securely fastened and protected during transit.
   • Utilize correct lifting techniques for items weighing up to 75 lbs.

2. Driving:

   • Operate moving trucks in adherence to safety regulations.
   • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
   • Adhere to traffic laws and safe driving practices.

3. Customer Service:

   • Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
   • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
   • Handle belongings with care to ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Team Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with team members to complete moving tasks efficiently.
   • Communicate effectively with the Crew Manager and colleagues for smooth operations.

5. Flexibility:

   • Be available for flexible working hours including evenings and weekends.
   • Adapt to changing job requirements and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record during the previous 7 years.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 75 lbs, using proper techniques.
• Prior experience in moving or physically demanding roles preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay ranges from $19.50/hr to $22/hr with regular performance reviews.
• Additional $4/hr in cash tips on average, based on performance.
