We are recruiting one experienced General Maintenance Technician for two residential property sites (in Reidsville and Graham, NC). Residential sites are in Reidsville NC and Graham NC (will float between both sites)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance Tech for apartment complex, basic handyman skills. General maintenance/repair work at an apartment complex, handyman skillset, small plumbing repairs and toilet repairs, inspections/walkthroughs, changing locks/handles/filters, will troubleshoot issues for evaluation of problems, NO HVAC or electrical certification required

Maintenance technician duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a professional demeanor with residents.
• Communicate regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager regarding issues and recommendations for property improvements.
• Complete work orders including items such as appliance repairs, heating, and cooling systems, painting, light plumbing work, and light fixture replacement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• The incumbent will be expected to float between the two property locations (Reidsville NC and Graham NC).

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance of $15,000 free to the employee. After 1 year-401k with up to 5% match.

Qualifications:

• High school education or GED.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance; maintain a professional attitude and work habits in dealing with the staff, vendors, and the public.
• Physical demands include, but are not limited to lifting, carrying climbing, stepping, kneeling, working outdoors, overtime and weekend on call rotation.
