Responsibilities:

• Supervises any maintenance contractor
• Supervise outside contractors (masons, electricians, plumbers, roofers, )
• Perform preventive and as needed maintenance to Hi Lows, compressors, pumps, and other
• Performs general maintenance: replacing lights, repairing sinks and toilets, repairing doors and locks, etc.)

• Provides special project maintenance: building rooms, running piping and conduit, repairing
• Will order parts that are required to finish any projects if okayed by Mechanical Manager
• Assisting production mechanics when
• Turns on compressors and lights each
• Oversees Waste Disposal contractor
• First responder for problems with:
  • Air Conditioning
  • Chillers
  • Heat System
  • Minor Electrical
  • Dryer
  • Air Compressors

And if not capable of solving the problem, or is unable to complete the job, needs to see Mechanical Manager or Director of Engineering and a solution will be figured out as a team.

• Works with all departments to promote teamwork, efficiency, professionalism & safety
• Makes sure all policies, rules and procedures are followed
• Set the example for teamwork, cooperation, safety, respect and work ethic for all employees
• Department of Environmental Protection duties include inspection of tank farm, pipes, flanges, secondary containment areas, security systems and flexible Other duties include informing outside contractors of safety procedures and in an evacuation accounting for subcontractors. The Maintenance Manager will assist the Director of Engineering in spill containment and cleanup and will assist in fire extinguisher training.
• Hazardous Waste Management duties include backup in all phases of waste collection and removal. Checks outside areas of building including tank
