Salary: Up to $22/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking individuals who loves working in the printing industry and has excellent printing knowledge to join a local printing company as a Quality Inspector.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform “samples” selection and package for shipment
• Perform visual inspection of random samples of product selected during a production run, or post production, looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out of specification
• Follow inspection checklist and record any identified defects
• Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer
• Prepare written reports and provide notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects
• Identify potential issues and involve department lead and/or management to determine an appropriate solution
• May assist with special projects or more complex customer orders
• May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2 or more years of experience in a quality control/assurance function in a printing environment required
• Good knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing procedures and knowledge of job specifics required

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 1st shift
