The Office Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our community. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our senior residents.

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Greet visitors and residents warmly, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members. 
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages. 
  • Maintain resident records, including contact information, lease agreements, and service requests. 
  • Collect rent payments from residents and issue receipts.
  • Assist residents with financial inquiries, including billing questions and payment arrangements.
  • Provide information on community services, activities, and resources available to residents.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Property Management experience desired.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with seniors, staff, and visitors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support and assist senior residents.
