Maintenance Automation Engineer

Salary: $70 K - $100 K / year

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable, efficient, and industrious candidates for a Maintenance Automation Engineer position with an established  Metal Stamping Manufacturing Company. This position will pay $70,000 - $100,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Data and diagnose problems
• Troubleshoot and execute maintenance plans to minimize downtown
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics,
  routine maintenance checks
• Repair equipment
• Order and track spare parts and equipment. Will travel to equipment suppliers
• Remove old equipment and install new equipment
• Utilize forklift, cranes and hand tools
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Willing to travel to Equipment Dealers when needed
• Able to read system schematics
• Must have Controls and PLC experience- AB and Siemens
• Must have 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance
• Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots
