Heat Treat Operator - 2nd

 

Are you looking for an immediate start? Our client is looking for a Heat Treat Operator in the Rockford area! In this position you will set up, operate, and/or tend heating equipment. This would include heat-treating furnaces and flame-hardening machines to temper, harden, anneal, or heat-treat metal objects.

 

This position works Mon-Fri 2PM -10:30PM but you will need to train on 3rd shift for several weeks. 3rd Shift schedule is from 10PM-6:30AM. 

 

Heat Treat Operator - Job Responsibilities 

 

• Monitoring materials and detect problems
• Inspecting equipment 
• Pressing control buttons to activate machinery 
• Remove defective or substandard materials or products
• Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products

 

Heat Treat Operator - Job Qualifications 

• H.S Diploma or GED
• Lift up to 50lbs 
• Experience with inspecting materials preferred
