Hours:  various shifts

Pay rate:  $16.78+/hr

Service areas:  Two service areas available –

• East - Downtown LA with tasks as-needed as far west as Mid-City including Koreatown, Westlake, USC, etc.

•  West – Venice & Marina del Rey with tasks as-needed as far east as Mid-City including Westchester, Palms/Sawtelle, Century City, Pico-Robertson, etc.

Job Description for e-Scooter Patrols/Drivers:

Cruise around town on an electric scooter making sure that scooters are available and safe to ride for people in your community. Duties include pick up, drop off, and redistribute scooters in your service area.  Additional Responsibilities include:

• Collect, transport, rebalance, and maintain scooters gathered at popular destination points or scooters that are improperly parked.
• Use mobile technology to identify operating areas requiring attention.
• Patrol service areas and inspect and identify vehicles that need repair and maintenance.
• Perform basic field repairs and field diagnostics to aid in upkeep of the fleet.
• Triage each damaged vehicle and determine the parts and repairs necessary to return the vehicle to the road.
• Load un-repairable damaged vehicles on and unload new vehicles off trucks.
• Technically savvy (Google Sheets, updating App., ability to communicate FULLY via cellular device)

Requirement for e-Scooter Patrols/Drivers:

• Experience with mechanical repair, inventory, logistics, and delivery
• A smartphone and comfort using technology.
• Valid driver’s license and have access to an insured vehicle.
• Ability to use mechanics tools and lift 40 pounds up to 3 feet off the ground regularly.
• Working outdoors in all conditions for 8 hours.
• Flexible availability and willingness to regularly work on weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 3 feet off the ground.
• Knowledge of local area geography and street layout is a plus.
