Key Responsibilities:
Repair and Maintenance:
- Expertly repair and maintain equipment related to rock and asphalt plants, belt lines, and scale houses.
- Execute scheduled and routine maintenance tasks with precision.
- Replace screen decks, conveyor belts, rollers, and diligently lubricate gear boxes and bearings.
- Perform screen oil changes and meticulously record essential data.
- Utilize a range of hand and power tools for seamless repairs and replacements.
- Collaborate in troubleshooting efforts and swiftly identify repair needs.
- Apply cutting-edge welding techniques for fabrication and repairs.
- Assist in construction and installation tasks as needed.
Cleaning and Loading/Unloading:
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness in work areas, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Proactively manage material spills and debris.
- Skillfully load and unload tools and supplies, both manually and with equipment such as forklifts.
Equipment Operation and Labor:
- Operate various equipment for mining, stockpiling, cleaning, and repair operations.
- Execute labor tasks such as shoveling and washing with precision and dedication.
Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Fulfill additional duties assigned by supervisors related to facility operation and maintenance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Mastery in cutting, welding, rigging, and proficient use of hand tools.
- Demonstrated experience in operating equipment such as loaders, excavators, and forklifts.
- Knowledge of aggregate and asphalt materials and products.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Equipment Used: Wheel loaders, excavators, utility trucks, tractors, skid steers, dozers, forklifts, boom lifts, haul trucks, water trucks, welding equipment, hand tools, computers, and CB radios.
