The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an Indianapolis-South manufacturing company that has been in business for over 60 years. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist.

 

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable processes, attention to detail, and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; some higher education preferred
• Previous experience in accounts payable
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and ERP systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

 

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently in QuickBooks Desktop and ERP system
• Perform 3-way matching of invoices with packing slips
• Run reports and reconcile vendor statements
• Write checks and manage accounts payable tasks
• Assist with credit card transactions and bank account tracking
• Order office supplies as needed

 

Pay/Benefits:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. The position offers competitive pay at $26 per hour with the opportunity for evaluation to hire. Medical and Dental, 2 weeks of paid vacation, 401k, HSA.
