Shop Supervisor - 2nd Shift 

 

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of employees including welders, CNC machine operators, painters, and other shop personnel.
• Ensure efficient workflow and productivity in the shop.
• Train new employees and monitor their performance.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets company standards.
• Address any issues or conflicts that may arise among team members.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for equipment repairs and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welding supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve production targets.
