Job Opportunity: Welder/Fitter - Structural Steel Experience

 

Are you an experienced Welder/Fitter with a background in structural steel? We are currently seeking four skilled individuals to join our team. If you have prior experience, especially if you''ve worked at Alamo, we want to hear from you!

• Position: Welder/Fitter - Structural Steel
• Shift: 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm
• Pay: $19-25/hour Depending on Experience (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fitting tasks on structural steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Ensure precision and accuracy in welding to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project deadlines.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter with a focus on structural steel.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in welding techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
• Familiarity with structural steel detailing, fabrication, and erection practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience in structural steel.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety protocols.
