Company Overview: A leading provider of innovative HVAC solutions, specializing in commercial self-contained HVAC systems, is looking to add a CAD Drafter to their team. Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of their clients. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a talented CAD Drafter to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview: Looking for a skilled CAD Drafter with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting. Knowledge of HVAC systems is highly desirable, particularly in commercial applications. The ideal candidate will hold an AS or BS degree in engineering or design and possess a strong ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into precise CAD engineering concepts and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and costed Bill of Materials (BOMs) for commercial self-contained HVAC systems.
• Prepare presentations for program and design reviews, showcasing CAD engineering concepts and drawings.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to interpret customer requirements, sketches, markups, verbal and written directions, and translate them into accurate CAD drawings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting.
• Prior knowledge of HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• AS or BS degree in engineering or design is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Excellent communication skills to interpret and convey technical information effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
