CDL Driver- $20/hour

A local material supplier Conroe, TX is searching for a CDL Driver to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-to-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have a CDL Class A or B License and have a clean driving record. Job Summary:

As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for driving a dump truck/flatbed truck ensuring vehicle safety, product safety, and timely delivery of materials. When not driving, you will be working in the yard, loading, and unloading materials, checking inventory, and performing other related tasks.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm
• Saturday: 7:30am-2pm

Summary of essential job functions:

• Operating motorized vehicles (26 ft. Flatbed Truck or Dump Truck)
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment as assigned
• Preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation
• Maintaining and presenting the vehicle in a professional manner
• Possessing intricate geographical knowledge of a specific territory
• Accepting payments and providing receipts, if applicable
• Working in the yard when not driving, including loading and unloading materials, checking inventory, and performing other related tasks

Skills & Abilities:

• Class A or B clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail-oriented approach to work
• Minimum of 2 years'' experience as a CDL driver
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Forklift experience.

Education & License:

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
• CDL License
