Account Manager/Outside Sales - Gonzales - C074

 

We are in search of an individual with experience and a genuine interest in understanding how safety and high-quality Chemical samples are achieved in different operational units of Chemical Plants throughout North America.

 

Job responsibilities include:
• Generate and qualify leads to identify new business opportunities within the assigned accounts
• Build, maintain, and retain effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s products and services
• As part of a team with other Account Manager(s) and senior management, develop, maintain, and implement an account strategy and plan
• Proactively engage in cold calling initiatives to expand the client base, driving sales growth and increasing revenue streams.
• Schedule and attend online and in person appointments with customers for discovery, presentations, product demonstrations, training and support
• Identify as many sample points as possible per plant and uncover improvement opportunities as well as challenges customer may not even know they have
• Document key information in the CRM
• Receive and take ownership of customers'' requests, including inquiries, questions, and issues. Involve other Account Manager(s) and the Technical Sales Team as needed to:
• Diagnose and gain a deep understanding of the customer’s request
• Identify how the Company’s products and services will best serve the customer
• Formulate an answer and/or a proposal, present it to the customer and follow-up until it is accepted
• Support the customer throughout the process and seek feedback post-delivery
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and make sure any solution provided is satisfactory and remain so until new challenges are uncovered.
• Participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other similar activities as required
• Regularly meets with senior management to review customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals, and status of key customer relationships
