A Newburyport company is looking for a Plating Inspector!

 

Description of role:

This position is responsible for the in-process inspection of electroplated components and assemblies in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  Must be able to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision.

 

Tasks:

• Visually inspect plating quality using a microscope
• Measure plating
• Perform Bake Testing of Plated components and assemblies
• Working within an ISO-9001
• Logging Data

*Secondary tasks include: Loading and unloading parts on plating racks, hand-wiring components and assemblies, packing parts for shipment, and other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Requirements:

1. Strong Verbal and Written skills
2. Blueprint Reading
3. Basic Computer Skills
4. Minimum 6 months inspection experience (preferred)
5. Must have impeccable dexterity
6. Able to work with small parts/components

Work Schedule:

Full time, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
