Job Responsibilities
• SAFETY FIRST!• Safely drive a concrete materials truck in compliance with all DOT regulations (Trucks are 8 Speed & 10 Speed Manual Transmission).• Perform pre and post trip inspections• Safely load concrete mixing & construction materials (Masonry Sand, Concrete Sand, Fill Dirt, Crush Run, etc…) into the truck • Safely unload concrete mixing & construction materials (Masonry Sand, Concrete Sand, Fill Dirt, Crush Run, etc…) off the truck at the customer jobsite• Compare purchase orders, sign-off on delivery tickets and confirm addresses on delivery tickets and ensure that routing information is obtained prior to leaving the company site.
Qualifications
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).• Minimum of 1-year Commercial Driving Experience.• Ability to load materials repetitively onto and off truck.• Must be a safe driver with no hit & runs or no DWI or DUI convictions within the last 12 months. • Prior concrete truck driving experience a plus.• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
