Machine Operator - Print Press

Located in Tigard, OR

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join their team as a Printing Press Operator. Responsibilities:

• Utilize software such as Onyx Rip, Adobe Illustrator, and other design/print tools.
• Operate HP latex printers, Summa Cutters, and handle tasks like grommet placement, vinyl cutting, and corex substrate material handling.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• Review job orders to understand printing instructions, stock specifications, colors, and quantities.
• Conduct regular inspections during print runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Manage ink levels and mix or purchase inks as required.
• Start presses and verify proof alignment, registration, density, and coverage, making adjustments as needed.
• Load paper onto presses, adjusting settings for different paper sizes.
• Clean printing equipment after each press run.
• Monitor and address error messages on automated press systems, performing minor repairs when necessary.
• Maintain paper feed systems, adjusting tension and controls as needed.
