We are seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Driver to join our team for hauling flatbeds. The primary responsibility will be tarping loads using a harness system, which may be the most challenging aspect of this role. Patience, initiative, and safe driving are essential qualities for this position. Candidates with basic mechanical skills to address minor truck breakdowns are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport goods on a 48' long flatbed trailer.
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Use harness system to properly tarp and secure loads on the flatbed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Address minor truck maintenance issues as needed.

Schedule:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (hours may vary based on workload). This position does not include a structured lunch break; work at your pace with breaks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with tarping flatbed loads using a harness system.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Basic mechanical skills to handle minor truck repairs are a plus.
• Comfortable with physical work and able to lift heavy objects.
• Closed-toe shoes required; steel-toe boots not necessary.
