Our client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Day Porter (Janitorial Laborer)!

General Duties:

• Wipe any spills or drips on toilet seat
• Ensure toilets are flushed and ready for use
• Wipe counter of any water left behind
• Clean mirror of any smears or smudges
• Stock both toilet paper and paper towels
• Make sure waste can is not full or overflowing, empty when/if needed
• Make sure no debris or paper bits are on the floor, sweep if needed
• Tidy up tables and wipe up any spills or food crumbs
• Wipe counter of any spills or food crumbs
• Wipe chair seats to ensure cleanliness
• Make sure waste can is not full or overflowing, empty when/if needed
• Sanitize buttons
• Check for trash or items on floor
• Clean glass of any fingerprints, smears or smudges
• Mop up any salt, sand or water
• Tidy up waiting area, straighten chairs if needed

Requirements:

• Must be punctual, dependable and friendly
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and walk/stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Hours:

• Available shifts are: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm OR 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Monday through Friday

Pay:

• $15/hr
