Express Employment Professionals in Albertville is seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Technician to join the team of one of their clients. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!  This position is responsible for ongoing repairs on manufacturing equipment and performing building maintenance. This is a great company located in the Brooklyn Park area that believes in developing their employees and promoting from within! This is a day shift position 6am-2:30pm M-F no weekends!  Pay rate of $30-$32/hr.  May go higher for the right candidate! Excellent Benefits package!

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have CNC machine repair and maintenance (i.e. belts, bearings, etc.)
• Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices etc.
• Install and maintain pneumatic equipment systems.
• Need to be comfortable climbing ladders
• Work with supervisor to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule and coordinate projects at other locations
• Requisition supplies.
• General building maintenance (i.e. repair doors, lights, ballasts, etc.)
• Repair and maintain physical structures of buildings.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, drains and systems.
• Perform surface preparation, painting and other types of interior wall applications.
• Increase knowledge and awareness of safety for yourself and others throughout the workplace.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs.
• Estimate time required to do projects or jobs.
• Report all safety concerns, hazards and incidents.
• Follow ergonomically correct standards in workspace.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Housekeeping
• Commitment to Standard Work and willingness to create a positive impact.
• Complete any safety or OSHA training as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years'' experience in CNC machinery/manufacturing maintenance
• Vocational Certificates and/or experience in the following: (Electrical, HVAC, PLC and Plumbing)
