Sales Administrative Assistant
A local company out of Sacramento is searching for a Sales Administrative Assistant who will have core responsibilities that include counter sales, processing customer payments, and providing customer service. Position is full time, long term!
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Location: South Sacramento
Sales Administrative Assistant key responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers at the location's counter.
- Process sales of propane, accessories, and cylinder fills, accepting cash, checks, and credit card payments.
- Manage cash drawers, ensuring accurate currency and change.
- Perform general clerical tasks.
- Contact customers to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and generate new business.
- Process orders and complete necessary forms/applications.
- Assist the sales team with incoming requests and outbound notifications.
- Maintain customer, vehicle, and driver files.
- May be required to work overtime hours as needed.
Sales Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
