Sales Administrative Assistant

 

A local company out of Sacramento is searching for a Sales Administrative Assistant who will have core responsibilities that include counter sales, processing customer payments, and providing customer service. Position is full time, long term!  

 

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hour 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Location: South Sacramento

 

Sales Administrative Assistant key responsibilities:  

  • Assist walk-in customers at the location's counter.
  • Process sales of propane, accessories, and cylinder fills, accepting cash, checks, and credit card payments.
  • Manage cash drawers, ensuring accurate currency and change.
  • Perform general clerical tasks.
  • Contact customers to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and generate new business.
  • Process orders and complete necessary forms/applications.
  • Assist the sales team with incoming requests and outbound notifications.
  • Maintain customer, vehicle, and driver files.
  • May be required to work overtime hours as needed.

 

Sales Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
