The Facility Maintenance Assistant position is responsible for assisting the Building Manager by supporting the corporate campus facility and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, and securing the warehouse. All outlined tasks are anticipated however do not represent an entire list of what will be expected.  The position requires flexibility to assist with changing assignments as directed by supporting the corporate needs.  Starting wage is 16-19/hr DOE.  

Corporate Campus Responsibilities

  • Support Building Manager with maintaining and providing customer service to corporate facilities / employees.
  • Manage conference room set-up and track scheduling with multiple departments.
  • Manage moving furniture (tables, chairs, and accessories) from warehouse to conference rooms prior to meetings and returning product after use to keep clean uncluttered conference spaces.
  • Manage Desk configuration for installing sit/stand desks and adjusting height for new staff and existing staff moves.
  • Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Support corporate facilities with duties including but not limited to: delivery of mail, maintaining office supplies, answering phones.

Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Work with Facilities Management Team to establish a system that requires consistent communication and customer service support for all home office Departments with an efficient system for storage and delivery of supplies to and from off-site warehouse storage.
  • Maintains off-site receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations that support corporate campus departmental needs.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with Departmental contacts.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Manage multiple departments delivery needs from warehouse to Offices and Medford Corporate Campus.
