We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Hazmat General Labourer. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks related to the identification, handling, and removal of hazardous materials at client sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the identification and labeling of hazardous materials according to regulatory requirements.
• Safely handle and transport hazardous materials using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling procedures.
• Assist with the setup and operation of equipment for hazardous material removal, containment, and cleanup.
• Follow established procedures for the safe disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with local, state/provincial, and federal regulations.
• Perform general labor tasks such as site cleanup, equipment maintenance, and inventory management as directed by supervisors.
• Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and emergency response drills to maintain awareness of hazards and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hazardous materials management, remediation, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT) is an asset.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.

Schedule: Day shifts, schedule is is not fixed, must be flexible to work any time.
Wage: $20
