We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our sanitation team at the potato processing plant. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas.

Location: Ririe, ID

Pay: $17.50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks according to established procedures and schedules.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and processing areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, walls, and ceilings using approved cleaning agents and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and debris in designated containers and follow proper waste management procedures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for employees.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and chemicals as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing sanitation tasks.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor or management for prompt resolution.
• Participate in training programs to learn and adhere to company policies, procedures, and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sanitation or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various temperature conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques.
